Immediate download of 30-track album in your choice of high-quality MP3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.
With the help of Kickstarter backers, I’ve drawn upon the past year and half of One Hello World to compile this humble blog’s 30-track debut album, “The Listener”. The collection of recordings explores a broad range of experiences, reaching across the world (with voicemails from abroad) and addressing unique perspectives regarding controversial issues. It chronicles viewpoints on the assassination of Osama bin Laden, the failure of the Dream Act and the struggles of Occupy Wall Street. It also presents deeply personal accounts of daily life, with a caller recounting the joys of fatherhood and another the pain of losing a brother to suicide. There’s love, love lost and discovering yourself - all with their own soundtrack.
The cut ended up featuring some of my personal favorites. I hope you find it has some of yours, too.

These stories are not One Hello World's - they belong to strangers who called +1(316)-247-0421. Without them, this whole project would've been the fuzzy sound you get after somebody hangs up on you (+music). Also, thanks to those who funded this humble album: Mitch & Diane Brickman, Charlie & Leonor Goebel, Stephanie Withrow, Sarah Heering, John Hight, Jon Goebel, Edgardo Gonzalez, Bill Nolan and all those who gave what they could. This album was mixed, mastered and mustached by Ron Keck at SubCat Music Studios. <3 you too, tumblr & SoundCloud.
